We bought our first miniature poodle Myhaven Fancy Footwork at Pyennebeare in 1994.
We intended her to be an agility dog but got hooked on showing before she was old
enough to train for agility. She was bred by Julie and Stephen Warnes. Fidget (as
we called her) had the potential but we enjoyed showing better than agility. It was
our first experience of showing and we all had great fun travelling all over the
country to the shows. The time came to retire her and we decided to let her have
a litter, and in 1997 she gave us our 'Millie -
Elaine kept Millie, and Gayle kept Mandie and both did well in the show ring. Fidget was always top dog in the household and known as 'The Queen'. Alas, Our dear Fidget passed away peacefully in her sleep in August 2008. So sadly missed, in our hearts forever.

Millie enjoyed her show career but is now retired.
"Pyennebeare Milligan" Spike.
Born 23 / 09 / 2001
Spike was special from the moment he was born. Always full of fun, often quite naughty.
He just screamed "look a me" at birth. When he was born, he looked just like his
mother did at birth and we all said "he looks like Millie (his Mum) all over again".
Millie again became 'Mill again' and that’s how we arrived at his name. We wanted
a rough and tough name for a rough and tough dog, as he is. So with the name Pyennebeare
Milligan his pet name came naturally and he has never failed to live up to it -
Thanks to Wendy Brenton for Spike’s stud book number (gained 12th August 2006) at Bournemouth Championship Dog Show.
Mille had her second litter in November 2003 spoiling us with three beautiful puppies, Lulu, Leo and Lola. This time we kept our little girl Lola, Pyennebeare Sparkles
